As PUCO Rooftop celebrates its 2nd Anniversary, we reflect on a journey built on community, sustainability, and meaningful actions that go beyond our workspace walls. Since the beginning, PUCO has stood not only as a home for remote workers, creatives, and travelers—
but also as a catalyst for positive impact in Bali.
This year, we proudly reached an important milestone in our commitment to the environment. On 18 February 2024, PUCO Rooftop, together with our PUCOMates, joined hands with the Ersanya Gayang Gayang Fisherman Organization to plant 100 mangrove trees at the Mangrove Forest in Kedonganan, Bali.
Why Mangroves Matter
Mangroves play a vital role in preserving Bali’s coastal ecosystems. They act as natural protectors against erosion, support marine life, and store large amounts of carbon—making them one of the most powerful tools in fighting climate change.
By planting 100 mangroves, we aim to support:
- Coastal protection for local communities
- Habitat restoration for marine ecosystems
- Long-term climate resilience for Bali
- Education and awareness for our PUCOMates and partners
This initiative reflects our belief that sustainability doesn’t always need grand gestures—
Small, consistent actions can create meaningful long-term change.
A Celebration With Purpose
Instead of hosting a traditional anniversary event, PUCO Rooftop chose to celebrate by giving back to nature. The mangrove planting activity brought together PUCOMates, local partners, and community members, all united by a shared purpose: shaping a better future for Bali.
It was a memorable day filled with teamwork, muddy hands, smiles, and the feeling of being connected to something bigger than ourselves.
Shaping the Future Together
As we mark our second year, we are grateful for everyone who has been part of PUCO’s journey — from members to partners, staff, and the extended Bali community.
Our hope is simple: that PUCO Rooftop continues to inspire more actions that uplift the environment and the people around us.
Here’s to many more years of growth, sustainability, and community impact.
Happy 2nd Anniversary, PUCO Rooftop!
